Great Ukay Finds
I’ve always been that kind person where I want to wear cool and trendy clothes but I hate spending too much money. It’s actually a problem because clothes nowadays sometimes cost 200 or 350 (I’m broke). And now, luckily, I have found the perfect solution for this— Ukay-Ukay. To be honest, Ukay helped me to save money but can still have great fashionable clothes.
For the past year, I’ve gone to Ukay probably a hundred times already and I would spend hours just to find really nice clothes. I actually have my favorite store here in Nasugbu. The price range is between 10-50, depends on what day is it or how many clothes are still there.
Here are some of my great ukay finds:
First on the list is the black belt that is super “in” today. As you can see, it has a gold buckle and it’s simple. I bought this at a different store.
Price: 50 PHP
Next is this blue dress with daisies all over it. I think it’s in between vintage and modern. I really love it and I love how it fits me.
Price: 35 PHP
(look how long my hair is)
Next is this simple halter top. It has this 3 symbols: yin-yang, heart, and an alien. I really thought it was cute that’s why I bought it.
Price: 50 PHP
This is one of my favorites!!!!! I don’t know if should still call it “three-fourths” because it reaches my wrist. This shirt reminded me of Troy Bolton, and since I’m such a big fan of HSM so I bought it. Its original brand is Forever 21 (Men).
Price: 35 PHP
My babyyyy.
Next is this shirt that I’m also in love with. It looks so trendy and I really love the back side. Here's a tip for finding good tees: try looking at the men's section. This shirt happens to be in the men's section and I'm so happy that I have it and I really love it.
Price: 35 PHP
I don’t if you can see it clearly but it’s like an 80s vibe kinda thing. (Also, look at that sweat)
You’ve (probably) already saw this from my previous blog post. It’s a cover-up from Tory Burch and it looks so exquisite. Who would’ve thought someone can buy a piece of clothing from Tory Burch for a very cheap price?
Price: 35 PHP
Yes I know, I look like a guy here.
Since I’m trying to say goodbye to the “shorts” life, I bought some slacks. I originally wanted to find some plaid ones but there were no patterned pants. I love it even though (as usual) it’s big for me.
Price: 10 PHP
I’m so in love with these pictures, I literally can’t stop looking at them.
Hahaha imagine, I had the audacity to wear black turtleneck & long sleeves when it’s scorching hot outside (even inside).
Another Ukay outfit. The top that I’m wearing (which is a one-piece swimsuit) is actually my very first purchase in Ukay. I bought it April 2017?
Price: 20 PHP
You can’t really see it but I’m wearing a yellow high-waisted short that’s also from Ukay.
Price: 10 PHP
I recently stitched 3 garters at the back to make it tighter. I forgot to take a picture of what it looks like so here’s a throwback picture instead.
Another top that I love. I love its color and how “university shirt” it looks like. I bought it like that— sleeveless and cropped. But I still made it shorter to make it more hanging.
Price: 20 PHP
Here's what the back says.
Full Ukay ouuuutfit again. These pullovers are kinda hanging but it’s not that cropped. I think it was supposed to my sister’s but she didn’t like it so I claimed it.
Price: 35 PHP
I partnered with this (semi) shiny orange shorts. It’s also high waisted. I actually have a hard time choosing tops to match with it because I’m not great with colors.
Price: 10 PHP
Another full Ukay outfit that I love. My mom was actually the one who bought this mint green top. It’s hanging and has a plunging neckline. That’s why I also bought this super cute white lace bralette. I really loved how it turned out.
Price (both top and bralette): 35 PHP
This is the cutest skirt, I swear. It’s a striped mesh skirt and I really love it. What made me love it more is that it has shorts inside which is really convenient because I don’t have to wear shorts anymore.
Price: 10 PHP
Now here are some of the clothes that (for some reason) I couldn’t in my closet so I’ll just post a throwback picture instead. Hehe :)
Okay, this shorts is my favorite. I really love it and I think it’s super trendy. But when we left it at the laundry shop, when they returned it the string or lace was missing. That really disappointed me and made me frustrated. I was really saving this shorts for galas and such, now I couldn’t wear it because it has a missing piece. I also don't know what kind of string it was so I couldn't buy a replacement.
Price: 10 PHP
Tennis skirts are a thing and my best friend and I are so in love with it. Fortunately, I got to find a good pair of it in Ukay. When I was at the store, I was hesitant to buy it because it might not fit me but it did fit me perfectly.
Price: 10 PHP
We recently went to Papaya (posted something about it *wink*) and I wore this high waist shorts. It was actually big for me so I stitched some garter in it to make it tighter around my waist. It looks cute but I wished it had zippers instead of buttons.
Price: 35 PHP

This post is probably one of my personal favorites because it features what I love the most. Even if you ask my mom, my sister, my best friend... I really love Ukay and I’m glad they all love it too.
I wish for more great finds for a cheaper price. And I hope to visit more Ukays in Tagaytay, Balayan, or even in Manila.
So, that’s it! I’m really getting productive nowadays cause I think I need to make it up to you guys for having no updates since 2017 ended. I really hope you liked it. Thank you for reading!
